Malcolm Graham is a local historian who lived in West Oxford (1974-99) before moving to Botley:
"We discovered Tum as a family in the early 1980s and spent many happy hours there. After the official closure, I continued to swim there for many years and was involved with local groups which helped to keep the place open and accessible. On several occasions I had the memorable experience of watching a kingfisher diving from the bank while I was treading water in the pool!
I naturally became interested in the history of Tum and it featured in my book The Changing Faces of West Oxford (1998) in 2023, I published a more detailed account of Tum in the Oxfordshire Local History Journal."
